B.Pharmacy

TGAPCET / ECET / Counseling Code: TRNP

Admission Procedure:

For admission to the professional course B.Pharmacy the State Government, conducts an entrance exam called TGAPCET every year in the month of April/May. Both M.P.C & Bi.P.C groups’ students are eligible. Admissions are conducted by the Convener TGAPCET in a systematic manner by means of web counseling, 70% of seats are filled through the TGAPCET rank by the Convener and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at Intermediate or as per the State government prescribed rules from time to time.

ECET (For lateral admission into 2nd year regular B.Pharmacy) – Eligibility Requirements:

The student will be ranked (Integrated Merit Rank) based on the marks obtained by him / her in the TG ECET -Examination.

Candidates should satisfy the following requirements:

 They should be of Indian Nationality.

 They should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / nonlocal status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended. The same is adapted to the State of Telangana G.O.Ms. No. 33 dated 31.12.2014.

They should have obtained a Diploma in Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent there to for admission into the B. Pharmacy Courses corresponding to the Diploma as given in the Instruction Booklet.

M.Pharmacy

For admission to the professional course M.Pharmacy the Central & State Government conducts entrance exams called GPAT & TGPGECET every year. Admissions are conducted by the Convener TGPGECET in a systematic manner by means of web counseling, 70% of seats are filled through the TGPGECET/GPAT rank by the Convener and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at B.Pharmacy or as per the State government prescribed rules from time to time.
